Lukashenko approved amendments to CIS agreement on telemedicine systems

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 209 on May 22nd to approve the draft protocol on amendments to the agreement (dated November 19th, 2010) on co-operation between the CIS member states in the creation of compatible national telemedicine systems and their further development and use, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

The document was approved as a basis for negotiations. The Government of Belarus was authorised to conduct the latter, as well as to sign a protocol upon reaching an agreement within the approved project.

The protocol specifies and expands the spheres of interaction between states in the field of creating a common medical information space based on the integration of regional and national telemedicine consulting and diagnostic systems.
